Manchester Institute of Innovation Research (UNIMAN)
Manchester Institute of Innovation Research (MIoIR) at the University of Manchester was established in 2007 with the merger of PREST and CRIC. MIoIR aims to be world leading in the research and teaching of innovation, technology management and relate policy, and to provide advice and support to firms, governments and agencies across the world in this area. The Institute is a research centre of the University of Manchester’s Manchester Business School and has the largest concentration of researchers in the innovation and technology policy and management field in the world. The Institute’s main research themes are: technology strategy and innovation management; service and organisational innovation; science and innovation policy and strategic intelligence; innovation and sustainability; and, innovation, innovation systems and economic development.
