IE HAS will contribute to SANDERA in the fields of foresight and science and technology policy and ERA dynamics. Attila Havas has participated in a number of foresight and policy analysis projects, including: The Future of Key Research Actors in the European Research Area (HLEG, EC DG Research); Foresight Methodologies - Exploring New Ways to Explore the Future (COST Action 22); and Developing Foresight to Strengthen the Strategic Basis of the European Research Area (HLEG, EC DG Research). He has participated in a number of EU-funded research projects on STI policies, innovation systems, as well as on foresight and prospective analyses; advised the Czech, Greek and Turkish Technology Foresight Programmes; been a member of several High-Level Expert Groups on foresight; and been invited speaker at a number of international conferences and workshops on technology foresight.
