 Professor Philippe LARÉDO is Directeur de Recherche at ENPC (in LATTS, Laboratoire Territoires, Techniques, Sociétés) and Professor at the University of Manchester (Institute of Innovation Research, Manchester Business School). His research interests are on breakthrough innovation, on the dynamics of research collectives and on research and innovation policies. On the latter he has edited with Philippe Mustar, an international comparative analysis on Research and Innovation Policies (Edward Elgar, 2003 for the paperback edition). He presently co-ordinates the PRIME European Network of Excellence (2004-2008) standing for policies for research and innovation in the move towards the ERA.

 
 Dr Aurélie DELEMARLE is a Post-Doctoral Fellow at LATTS/CNRS. Aurélie has a PhD in Management from Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées and has also worked as research assistant to the S&T counsellor, French Embassy, Washington, D.C. 2007 – 2008. Aurélie has significant experience in working on science and technology policy related projects including the PRIME-funded Nanodistrict project; a European project on the emergence of science districts in nanotechnologies and a study project management and transformation of the organisation funded by CEA (French Nuclear Energy Agency) .
